Reishi Mushrooms when used regularly are said to have curative and preventative properties.  They are known to bring long live with mental sharpness. To read more about there benefits jump down this rabbit hole right here

This is a Reishi mushroom. It feels like a piece of Balsa Wood but it doesn't taste like one; well, actually I haven't tasted Balsa Wood but the Reishi mushroom tastes pretty good.... I can't explain the taste but it doesn't need sugar... I have put a mint in the hot water but I really can't describe the taste... I'll have to come back and try again another time.  There are no real rule as to how to make the tea... There is tradition but the hell with that... tradition would tell you to put between a gram and a half to nine graims in a quart of water and boil it or keep it near a boi to from 20 minutes to up to 4 hours... i kinda do that but I then take the tea and add water to it... I drink it cold with ice about half water and half tea... I love it... it is cool and refreshing and like I said it is delious without any sugar. You can do anything you want with it... there are no Reishi Tea police

Most of the mushrooms are the size of a mans hand some a little smaller and some can be a lot larger. They are very rare in the wild. I can grow them here in Florida... I grow red ones and black ones... the one in the picture is black but it is hard to see with the reflextion of the light... it makes the mushroom look kinda golden but it is black.

You take this mushroom and grind 2 to 9 grams of it like a piece of hard parmesain cheese. You take that ground up powdered mushroom and put it in slightly boiling or just heated near boiling water for at least a half hour.... other instructions have you keeping the water very near boiling over night and still others say to keep it near a boil for 2 to 4 hours take your pick... I have tried all and I don't really notice a difference... then you strain out the powder and drink the tea... it is said you can use the mushroom powder again and again until it no longer produces color in the hot water... I don't do this but then I have lots of mushrooms around... if you want to save mushroom use the mushroom orver and over as much as you can.

Another method to brew the mushroom is to soak it overnite, cut it up into small pices and add it to 2 quarts of water... boil it on a low flame or keep it near boiling for two hours...

After I have been drinking the tea i read that there is a possiblity of allergic reaction... I experienced none but I read an article that said if you are new to this tea you should start with a tablespoon and check your reaction.... add another tablespoon etc and work you way up... I have read the tea has a bitter taste I have found  this not to be the case... I like the taste but I added water to mine to get it to where I really liked it.. it is not sweet but the taste is interesting and I like it... I keep drinking it but I can't describe it... it is just really good...kinda of like a spicy sassafrass tea... without perservaties... Oh I like to put a mint in my reishi tea... it makes it even better

I'll try to get more information about the benefits of Reishi Tea... it is a highly sought after tea in certain places and it is said to be powerful like ginsing... I drink it and I notice nothing but I just like it... it makes water taste better and leaves no after taste... I don't notice that I feel any better but I don't feel worse like I might had I had the same amount of lemonade... lemonade tastes real good going down but I don't feel so good about drinking lemonade later... with reishi tea I feel fine later... try it ... its really good

A mushroom costs 10 bucks and 5 bucks to ship... there is no further shipping charge on additional orders of the mushroom.
